Research with the Fuchs Group

During freshman year I was in charge of simulating optical modes in Silicon Carbide (SiC) nanophotonic devices (waveguides and ring resonators) like this.

Over the summer (May 2026 - Aug 2026) My main task was designing a superconducting microwave package for the group's resonators, to be primarily studied under 4-8GHz. The package is sized to fit the University of Colorado, Boulder chip which is also used by our group. Here's the package I designed, and here are the simulation results of the package in COMSOL 4.4 showing no modes.
